Quality assurance
Inspected six times before the container is sealed.
Consistency is what keeps buyers ordering again. Every consignment passes a fixed sequence of checks, and nothing ships until the photographic QC report is approved.
Our checks
A fixed sequence, applied to every order.
- 01
Block selection
Blocks are assessed at the quarry for colour consistency, crack lines and mineral distribution before they are moved to the processing unit.
- 02
Slab grading
Slabs are graded into premium and standard lots. Only material matching the approved sample tone is reserved against an order.
- 03
Calibration & thickness
Thickness is verified at multiple points on every slab. Calibrated material is held to a tolerance of ±0.5mm.
- 04
Finish verification
Gloss level, honed uniformity and flamed texture are checked under natural light and signed off against the specification.
- 05
Photographic QC report
Numbered slab photographs and a packing list are shared for approval before the container is sealed.
- 06
Seaworthy packing
Fumigated wooden crates with plastic and foam separators, steel strapping and moisture protection for long ocean transits.
Third-party inspection
Independent inspection welcome, at any stage.
Buyers are welcome to appoint SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or their own representative to inspect material at the yard prior to loading. We coordinate access, provide slab numbering and hold shipment until the inspection report is cleared.
