About this stone
The Laptro cut of Pearl Brown drifts copper-pearl ovoids diagonally across a deep black ground.
Cross-cutting the block turns the pearl crystals into elongated ovoids that follow a clear diagonal, giving the slab a sense of direction. It is a favourite for island fronts and reception faces where the eye should travel across the stone.
